Summary

  • emit arm64 libmicroinit.so and libshutdown.so artifacts while retaining legacy arch-specific names
  • publish and retag Android OCI layers with jniLibs-compatible names, accepting legacy inputs/layers as fallback
  • prefer the new artifacts in CI and validate their Bionic linkage

Test plan

  • bash -n scripts/build-android.sh scripts/publish-oci-microinit-android.sh scripts/retag-oci-microinit-android.sh
  • git diff --check
  • mocked ORAS publish with legacy input names produces lib*.so layers
  • mocked ORAS retag of legacy OCI layers produces lib*.so layers

Add configuration, service-lifecycle, and using-as-supervisord pages for
administrators. Slim down operator.md, de-emphasize product-specific branding,
and link the new guides from the docs index and README.
