Brings the docs in line with main after #70–#73 and makes provenance enforceable.

  • README / ROADMAP / MANIFESTO: what is on main and in 1.8.0 now names the security hardening and the protected fix loop; Building in public links the agent-safety work.
  • Numbers: docs:numbers undercounted secret patterns (8; the core rule pack's 12 were missed). README's 20 was right; references 49 → 57.
  • docs/genai.md: commits since v1.7.0 (57, all Claude co-authored, 12 without the AI-Assisted line; history not rewritten) and how the agents building Penthera are contained.
  • Provenance check (scripts/ci/provenance.mjs, new provenance job on PRs): a commit naming an AI co-author must have an AI-Assisted line, and vice versa.
  • CHANGELOG [Unreleased]: entries for docs(readme): a Building in public section #69, docs: harness-audit specs (agents checklist, rule spec, E8 draft) #73 and this PR; stray blank lines removed.
  • The incident memo's status line now says it is published, with the positioning section still a proposal.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

README, roadmap, manifesto, GenAI disclosure and CHANGELOG now agree on what
is on main: the review fixes, the protected fix loop, the agent-safety docs.
docs:numbers counts the core rule pack's secret patterns (20, not 8), and the
README reference count is refreshed (57). A CI job checks that every pull
request commit naming an AI co-author also has an AI-Assisted line.

AI-Assisted: Claude Code with Claude Opus 5.5; audited the docs for contradictions, wrote the edits and the provenance script
