Type a company's domain and get its profile: headcount, funding, headquarters and what it does. A small Next.js app that calls the Crustdata Company Enrich API from the server with the key Vercel adds when you install Crustdata from the Marketplace.
Deploying adds Crustdata to the new project, which sets CRUSTDATA_API_KEY for you.
lib/crustdata.ts makes one request:
await fetch("https://api.crustdata.com/company/enrich", {
method: "POST",
headers: {
Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.CRUSTDATA_API_KEY}`,
"Content-Type": "application/json",
"x-api-version": "2025-11-01",
},
body: JSON.stringify({
domains: ["stripe.com"],
exact_match: true,
fields: ["basic_info", "headcount.total", "funding.total_investment_usd", "funding.last_round_type", "locations.headquarters"],
}),
});- The key stays on the server. The page is a React Server Component, so the request and
CRUSTDATA_API_KEYnever reach the browser. fieldsis a whitelist. The response carries only the groups you list. Add any group from the Company Enrich reference to show more, such asfunding(every round),headcount(growth over time),peopleortechnographics(which adds 2 credits per company).- Each lookup costs 2 credits per matched company.
exact_match: truekeeps a domain from also matching look-alike companies, each of which would be billed.
