I noticed that MVCC keeps old document and index revisions, so with frequently updated data the database can keep growing even when the actual live data stays small. It would be useful to have configurable retention, similar to Convex's DOCUMENT_RETENTION_DELAY. Something like:
CONCILE_DOCUMENT_RETENTION_DELAY=14d
CONCILE_INDEX_RETENTION_DELAY=...
A background GC could clean up old revisions while keeping the history needed for MVCC reads.
