Promote the
v0.1.6change set onto the official release line.This branch is based directly on current
mainand contains only the update guidance/shutdown fix, the Windows fixture stabilization, and the coordinated0.1.6version preparation. It replaces #53, whose direct dev-to-main replay conflicted because the prior release was rebase-promoted under different commit IDs.
