Summary

  • Replace the historical, version-by-version landing-page README with a clear German Library overview and honest 3.2.1-p0-preview release status.
  • Add a repo-owned GitHub Actions workflow for existing source QA, a fake-configuration build and dist verification.
  • Document the historical Release title/tag mismatch (v7.1.1 shown vs v1.1.1 tag) and the staging/release criteria.

Security and release scope

  • No Supabase migration, service-role credentials, deployment or production changes.
  • The CI values (ci-placeholder.supabase.co, sb_publishable_ci_placeholder_not_a_real_key, example.invalid) are deliberately invalid and must never be deployed.
  • Live RLS role tests, Auth/Storage integration and browser QA still require an authorized staging environment.
  • Existing Git tags and GitHub release metadata are unchanged; see docs/RELEASES.md for proposed manual correction.

Review checklist

  • GitHub Actions source QA and placeholder build complete successfully.
  • Check Markdown links and README rendering.
  • Verify no secret or live DB is used by CI.
  • Confirm release statements match intended public messaging.
  • Merge only after review.
