This file is the release changelog, with one `## <version> - <title>` entry per release, newest first. The Cursor-to-T3 rewrite rules live in [`tools/substitutions.json`](tools/substitutions.json), and the [sync boundary](CONTRIBUTING.md#the-sync-boundary) in `CONTRIBUTING.md` defines how a change to upstream's skill content is declared.

## 2.0.0-rc.6 - Lauren's `99743e9`: marginal sections cut from four skills

t3-pstack moves to Lauren Tan's pstack at cursor/plugins `99743e9` for all three components. Only pstack changed upstream, and its version stays 0.15.25: four skills lose sections that padded or restated their core ([pstack #634](https://github.com/cursor/plugins/pull/634)). The change only deletes text. Two rules rewrote swarm lines that upstream deleted, "Fan out N parallel cloud workers." and "not the cloud concurrency limit.", so both matched nothing and are removed. Removing them moved the derived merge base and made the three-way merge conflict on swarm, so pstack synced through `bun tools/sync.mjs --bootstrap`, which derived 120 files, kept the 13 declared forks, and changed only the four upstream touched. The port's diff to those four files is upstream's line for line, apart from the T3 form of the two deleted lines. `poteto-mode`'s principles index never quoted the dropped description clause, and upstream left it alone. At `99743e9` each component's dry run reports no undeclared fork, no denylist hit, and no substitution that matches nothing. Upstream's README change falls under a path the port excludes, and neither hooks file changes.

| `interrogate` lead judgment | `lead-judgment.md` opens by casting the lead as a filter, not an aggregator, and lists what the reviewers cannot know. It closes with Verdict Calibration: an Act On list over five items means too little filtering, and the Dismissed section is a trust mechanism. | The reference starts at its filtering principles and ends at When Reviewers Are Right. `interrogate`'s Step 5 still names the lead a pragmatic engineer, not a neutral aggregator. | pstack #634 |
| Type System Discipline | Eight rules, among them make illegal states unrepresentable, types are constructions, don't lie to the type system, exhaustive matching, and strengthen a type only where partiality appears. The description lists "refuse to lie to the compiler". | Three rules remain: brand semantic primitives, parse external data at boundaries, and derive types from authoritative schemas. The description drops "refuse to lie to the compiler". | pstack #634 |
| Migrate Callers Then Delete Legacy APIs | An intro, four rules, the conditions it applies under, and a closing line on dual-path complexity. | The rule on updating tests and the conditions remain. | pstack #634 |
| `swarm` | An intro line, a Phase A step 3 that sets N, and a Phase C line on the result table. | All three are gone. Phase A numbers its steps 1, 2, 4, 5 as upstream does, so Phase B's "the step 4 `target`" still points at the worker model step. | pstack #634 |

## 2.0.0-rc.5 - Lauren's `e5136d8`: four principles restated as reasoning

t3-pstack moves to Lauren Tan's pstack at cursor/plugins `e5136d8` for all three components. Only pstack changed upstream, and its version stays 0.15.25: four principles that banned or prescribed specific mechanisms now state the idea an agent derives each call from ([pstack #633](https://github.com/cursor/plugins/pull/633)). `poteto-mode`'s principles index and `/correct`'s test step follow. `bun tools/sync.mjs` wrote the four principle leaves and `/correct` cleanly, and merged `poteto-mode` around its declared fork's four rules with no conflict. No rule anchors on the changed text, so the port's diff to these six files is upstream's line for line. At `e5136d8` each component's dry run reports no undeclared fork, no denylist hit, and no substitution that matches nothing. Upstream's README and guide changes fall under paths the port excludes, and neither hooks file changes.

`install` and `update` are the same command, and a second run changes nothing. With Node 20 or later, it installs or updates the `t3-pstack@t3-pstack` plugin in every Claude Code and Codex config home T3 can run: `~/.claude` and `~/.codex`, `$CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR` and `$CODEX_HOME`, and the home of each `claudeAgent` and `codex` instance in T3's settings, disabled ones included. Name any other home with `--claude-home <dir>` or `--codex-home <dir>`. Each home's `t3-pstack` marketplace must come from `chhoumann/t3-pstack`, or from `--source <owner/repo|git URL|dir>` on the same run, and a home whose marketplace has another source is left as it is. A local directory needs a path such as `./t3-pstack`, since `owner/repo` always means GitHub. On Codex it also trusts t3-pstack's session-start hook, once its hooks file is the one this release pins. Codex runs a plugin's hook only once it is trusted, and T3's Codex sessions never ask, so without this step the hook never runs. Run `update` after each release.

## Staying current

This repository syncs from Lauren's tree directly, synced against upstream `e5136d8`. `tools/upstream.json` pins each component, `tools/substitutions.json` holds the rewrite rules and a denylist of Cursor terms, and `tools/forks.json` declares every file the port keeps in its own form and why. `bun tools/sync.mjs <component> <sha>` derives each upstream file through the rules, merges it three ways with the port's copy, and fails on an undeclared fork, a denylist hit, or a rule that no longer matches upstream. [CONTRIBUTING.md](CONTRIBUTING.md#the-sync-boundary) has the details.

# Lead Judgment Framework

You are the lead reviewer. The configured reviewers have produced their findings. Apply pragmatic engineering judgment. Don't aggregate. Filter, contextualize, and decide.

## Why This Step Matters

Adversarial reviewers are useful because they're aggressive. But aggression without context produces noise. The reviewers only saw a slice of the codebase and a one-paragraph intent statement. They don't know:

- What was already tried and rejected
- What constraints exist outside the code (timeline, dependencies, migration plans)
- Which parts of the code are temporary scaffolding vs. permanent architecture
- What the next PR in the stack will address

You have the full conversation context. Use it.

## Filtering Principles

### Nitpick Gravity
Expand Down Expand Up @@ -50,9 +37,3 @@
- You read the finding and think "...yeah, actually"

Be especially careful about dismissing security findings and correctness bugs. These deserve more scrutiny even when they come from a single model.

## Verdict Calibration

A good verdict is useful, not comprehensive. The user should be able to read the "Act On" section, fix those issues, and ship with confidence. If your "Act On" list has more than 5 items, you're probably not filtering hard enough.

The "Dismissed" section is not busywork. It's a trust mechanism. Showing the user what you rejected and why lets them override your judgment where they disagree. This is more valuable than hiding the rejected findings.
