ARC Motion & Light

Intelligent Embedded Systems for Light, Environment and Motion

ARC Motion & Light develops original embedded hardware and software connecting real-time control, wireless environmental sensing and application intelligence. Our modular platform supports intelligent lighting and related physical systems, with motion-control applications as a separate development direction.

Our working prototypes bring electronics, software and measurements together in physical systems. The current Lamp architecture separates STM32G4 real-time control and safety from STM32WBA5 connectivity and persistent telemetry. We share the engineering behind this work so people can explore it, ask questions and develop ideas together.

ARC Open Development

Explore real technology. Ask questions. Learn together.

ARC Open Development invites engineers, students, educators, researchers and families into the development process. Through clear documentation and reviewed source releases, we want to make the decisions behind our technology understandable and create room for practical experiments and collaboration across disciplines and locations.

Education & Friendship Schools

Education is one of our central motivations for sharing our engineering work. We invite schools, upper secondary schools, colleges, universities and families to explore real technology, develop practical experiments and share observations across locations and borders.

We envision collaborations that connect curiosity about light, environment, energy and cultivation with learning from one another—whether between classrooms, university groups or generations in a family.

Engineering domains

Domain Current position
Real-time embedded control G4 Lamp PWM, thermal limits, fan control and RTC demonstrated on the prototype
Intelligent lighting Operating Lamp development platform; product/application validation remains specific to each design
Wireless environmental sensing Probe Thread telemetry recovery reported after a temporary network-configuration regression; full endurance/recovery claims remain bounded
Bluetooth and Thread connectivity Existing WBA5 communication and application integration; WBA6 is a planned, unverified target
Persistent telemetry WBA Flash retains Lamp and Probe records; G4 FRAM remains controller configuration, not the routine historian
Mobile and cloud integration iOS history retrieval/visualization and cloud synchronization are part of the existing system
Motion-control applications Separate application family and future repository review; Lamp firmware is not presented as motor firmware
Commercial technology development OEM integration, industrial applications, products and technical partnerships through separate agreements

Recent development reports describe restored Probe reception, history commits and iOS display, plus removal of the historian's former five-minute Probe recording gate. Development status records the evidence boundary: this is not an uninterrupted endurance guarantee or a claim of completed hardware-authorized enrollment.

Licensing and collaboration

Original ARC-owned firmware uses the selected PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 policy. Original ARC public documentation is licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0. Both permit activities within their terms. The documentation validator uses MIT. Branding is all rights reserved; hardware and third-party material have separate treatment. See the licensing matrix, copyright attribution and branding policy.

ARC is operated by Juan-Antonio Søren Espinoza Pedersen, trading as ARC Motion & Light, a Danish personally owned business. CVR: 34843341 is founder-supplied; independent official-register verification remains incomplete. The GitHub organization is our public development/distribution identity, not a separate incorporated rights holder.

This is the central documentation entry point for ARC Open Development. Firmware applications follow independent licensing, security and release reviews. The repository registry distinguishes planned distributions from published releases; a proposed name is not a download or availability claim.
