Strips -PRE, +BUILD, and -OPT segments per JEP 223 grammar before splitting the numeric version, e.g. "17.0.18-internal" or "11.0.31+11-post-1ubuntu1-24.04.2-Ubuntu".

Closes #105.

Strips -PRE, +BUILD, and -OPT segments per JEP 223 grammar before
splitting the numeric version, e.g. "17.0.18-internal" or
"11.0.31+11-post-1ubuntu1-24.04.2-Ubuntu".

Pre-JEP 223 version strings can also carry suffixes, such as
"1.8.0_402-internal" from self-built OpenJDK 8, which failed to parse
the same way as the new-format strings did. Strip the suffix up front,
before distinguishing between the two formats.
