  • Hi, my name is @antonijamatek, I am a research assistant at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science in Croatia

  • I obtained PhD in biology doing interdisciplinary research on internal island-trapped waves (ITWs) effects on primary production under the project ISLAND (https://www.pmf.unizg.hr/biol/island/en) funded by Croatian Science Foundation

  • Interested in data science- statistical analysis and visualization of oceanography and biology datasets

  • Actively engaged in modelling of primary production and light using in situ data, and integrating in situ data with satellite remote sensing products and models
