Keep the Grok navigation label in sync
On /guides/grok/configuration/, ChapterMenu.astro:30 ignores this title for product guides and resolves navigation order 30 through handbookChapters, whose label remains settings and memory in src/site.ts:66. Changing only the canonical title therefore leaves both sidebar variants advertising the old memory topic while the page is titled “settings and access”; render the page title or add a Grok-specific navigation label.

State the app-server distinction directly
The newly added sentence defines the distinction through what an app-server method does not establish, which is the negative-comparison construction prohibited in public copy. Keep the preceding positive statement that desktop task tools expose their own supported operations, or name the concrete mapping directly instead of defining it by absence.

State the scheduled task approval policy
For scheduled tasks in workspaces that permit it, OpenAI documents that runs use approval_policy = "never"; only an admin requirement that disallows never makes them fall back to the selected permission mode. Saying merely that organization policy “constrains” approvals hides that these unattended runs normally execute without approval prompts, which matters especially when the default sandbox is full access. State that behavior explicitly alongside the sandbox boundary. OpenAI’s scheduled-task documentation describes both branches.

The guides described removed Codex MCP commands as deprecated, shipped Claude Mods as a proposal, and several cloud/local workflows too broadly. This corrects those claims against current primary documentation and fixes the other recorded configuration, memory, hooks, scheduling, handoff, Cowork, MCP and sandbox findings. The existing section audit records a disposition for each factual cluster.
Grok's configuration chapter now says “settings and access.” Sidebar and picker labels use canonical chapter titles, so that correction reaches navigation. Product overview labels retain their existing wording, and the former Function Hooks fragment remains an alias.
Accepted text, hidden drafts, archive compatibility and historical version receipts are preserved. All 31 previously matching acceptance/preservation records remain exact. Source dates are scoped to inspected claims; they do not grant wording acceptance or certify installed account behavior. The README queues small wording batches next.
Validation:
All 11 GitHub checks passed on
2e77da65eaf659dc9c5dab0f24546b95d0ebf0a1. A previous site-job attempt encountered a transient GitHub 503 for an existing source-registry link; that URL subsequently returned HTTP 200. No check was weakened or excluded.Merged as
6bc72115ee9a42389eac2fbfc13ac44e6f123126; its tree matches the checked revision. GitHub Pages deployment succeeded for that exact merge. Live HTTP checks on October 17 verified all 11 affected public pages, corrected Grok navigation labels and the retained Mods alias. Local main is clean and matches origin/main. Wording acceptance remains unchanged; small wording batches are next.
