Analyzemail checks whether an address can actually receive mail and tells you how risky it is before it touches your sender reputation. Upload a list or call the API; every address goes through syntax, DNS and MX checks, a live SMTP mailbox probe, and risk detection.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
deliverable |
The mailbox exists |
undeliverable |
The mailbox does not exist, or the domain cannot receive mail |
risky |
It may exist, but carries a risk: catch-all, role-based, disposable, protected domain |
unknown |
The mail server gave no answer, and the verification credit is refunded |
Each result also carries independent flags: disposable, role-based, spam trap, litigator, catch-all, free provider, parked and protected (behind a security gateway such as Proofpoint or Mimecast).
