Add a basic Go CI workflow - #4
Merged

Conversation
Builds and tests on ubuntu-latest with the current stable Go, on every push and pull request. Mirrors the workflow already used in anacrolix/missinggo. go-version is "stable" rather than go-version-file: go.mod, because several of these repos declare an old go directive that no longer reflects what their code needs. Verified green on the default branch before adding. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <[email protected]> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_013BA3b7BbaJkPeeTYjhvi5g

This repo had no CI of any kind — no Actions workflow, no Travis, no CircleCI. This adds
.github/workflows/go.yml: build + test onubuntu-latest, on every push and pull request. It mirrors the workflow already in anacrolix/missinggo, with two deliberate differences:
go-version: stablerather thango-version-file: go.mod. Several repos in this batch declare agodirective far older than what their code actually needs, so reading the version fromgo.modwould pin CI to a Go that can't build them.on: [push, pull_request]without a branch filter, so it doesn't need to know whether the default branch ismasterormain.Verified green on
master(go build ./...,go test ./...— ~12s) before opening this.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
