If you're not doing something no one's ever done before then what are you doing?

7 hackathon wins, at JPMorganChase, McKinsey QuantumBlack, Google DeepMind, Datadog, ElevenLabs at a16z Tech Week, and ClickHouse

Rolemate — the verified trust layer for technical hiring. Live at rolemateapp.com

Being the change I wish to see in the world. Building Rolemate. CS + Data Science at Rutgers, jazz saxophone when not shipping. I got tired of watching real builders lose to AI-polished noise, so I built Rolemate to make proof the only thing that counts, a thing nobody had built for hiring. One filter sorts every repo here: has it been done before, and how many people does it help? NSF I-Corps fellow. Everything I build ships.

PublicWire — Top 10 Finalist, Datadog x Google DeepMind hackathon QuantumTrack — 3rd Place, McKinsey QuantumBlack finance hackathon
MirrorMatch Frenzy

Now

Rolemate is live: the verified trust layer for technical hiring, presented at a16z Tech Week's StartupGrind. Also building Frenzy and PublicWire.

The record

  • 1st at the JPMorganChase x Replit x Campfire finance hackathon, NYC: a cost estimator for micro data centers on private estates and maritime platforms.
  • 1st at the Emergence AI x Nebius x Tavily hackathon with Delivery Tracker.
  • 2nd overall at the Emotionally Intelligent AI Hackathon with ElevenLabs x Veris x Tavus x Redis at a16z NY Tech Week, with MirrorMatch.
  • Top 10 finalist at the Datadog x Google DeepMind hackathon with PublicWire.
  • 3rd at the McKinsey QuantumBlack finance hackathon with QuantumTrack.
  • Runner-up, Regeneron track at HackPrinceton Spring 2026, with Atlas: five federal databases no one had thought to connect.
  • 3rd at ClickHouse's NYC demo night with Rolemate, ahead of teams from Google, Docker, and RedHat, voted by 200+ VCs, angels, and founders in the room.
  • Pitched WasteZero at the Rutgers ISE Competition.

Also built

  • Atlas cross-references ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, the NPI Registry, CMS Open Payments, and FDA Warning Letters to surface stronger trial investigators. Fragmented public data, actually used.
  • CrewCast runs staffing coordination for event crews: Google OAuth, role-based permissions, real-time scheduling across concurrent events. React Native + Supabase. Competed at RES TechStart 2026.
  • RUWorkingOut shows which Rutgers gym is least crowded right now, location-aware and time-aware, live across all campus locations.

20+ customer discovery interviews validating the broken hiring pipeline for Rolemate.

  • USACS, @rutgers_usacs, Tech Director
Leading technical programming for Rutgers' undergraduate CS community, with a focus on project-oriented workshops, starter repositories, technical collaborations, and UHACCS 2027.

  • Rutgers Data Science Club, @rutgersdatascience, Co-Director of Competition
Planning datathons around sponsor sourcing, problem design, datasets, judging, logistics, and technical programming.

  • Grey Matter Society, @greymatteratru, Admin & Venture Lab, Board Member
Co-designed the curriculum and operating structure for a 4-week student-run health-tech accelerator guiding 8 teams from idea validation to functional MVP, monetization strategy, and demo readiness.

  • CGI, Software Developer Intern, Financial District, Manhattan. Summer 2026.
Utilities projects for commercial-sector clients in the Northeast business area. Delivery in Jira and Confluence with Claude Code and Codex in the toolchain; took away shift-left methodology and client-based product design.

  • Voya Financial, IT Intern, Manhattan. Jun–Aug 2025.
Python ETL automation for large-scale data migration, reducing manual workload by 30% and improving accuracy by 100%. Power BI reporting. Led internal Microsoft Copilot agentic AI integration.

  • Autonomous Motorsports Purdue, @amppurdue, Software and Electrical Team. Jan–Aug 2025.
Designed and built a more efficient Lithium-Ion battery. Trained a kart vision model using Roboflow on a larger, more variable dataset to improve trajectory and speed optimization.

What I care about

  • Doing what's never been done before, to help as many people as possible. That's the filter for everything below and above.
  • Proof as the only signal that doesn't lie. Real commits, real deployments, real results.
  • Students who walk out of workshops with something shipped that didn't exist that morning
  • Jazz, saxophone, drums, and voice: improvisation is playing what's never been played, and another medium to build things that both I and others can enjoy.
