Backend & AI engineer based in the Netherlands. I build backend systems and LLM pipelines, and I experiment with how AI agents can write production code under strict specifications.
Before software, I was a molecular biologist (MSc, partial PhD). I left research in 2023 to move into engineering, and I bring the same habits with me: hypotheses, measurement, and keeping an honest record of what worked and what didn't. I recently finished HackYourFuture's backend software development track.
Now: migrating a monolith to microservices on AWS, with Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
A job-search platform developed by a six-person team as the final project at HackYourFuture. My contributions included Google sign-in, account deletion, the profile API, and job-matching logic.
