This is to track a long-term desire to port our User's Guide to a modern documentation generator, mainly in the interest of preserving our project's legacy. (Deplate, the generator we currently use, is obsolete.)
Given our documentation feature requirements, Sphinx + RST seems like a reasonable choice, but I am open to others.
