Boot screen flashes for a split second, then a grey screen appears

What happened

The boot screen is displayed for only a fraction of a second (barely visible), and it is immediately followed by a grey screen.

Expected behavior
The boot screen should stay visible long enough to be seen, then transition directly to the main UI.

Actual behavior

1. The boot screen flashes for a few microseconds/milliseconds.
2. A grey screen appears right after.

How to reproduce

1. Power on the board (or press reset).
2. The boot screen appears for a split second.
3. A grey screen appears right after (and stays / then the UI shows up: précise ce qui se passe chez toi).
