This is a texture tool focused on automation
Project files will contain all outputs used on it full resolution, lossless compressed
Web app (I'm publishing and testing it, when I remove this notice it is deployed and tested)
These files will have the maximum resolution possible
You can right-click on the name of each file to edit it
You can right-click to rename a file
You can drag and drop the files in order to reorder them
You can also create folders on the file menu, The folders work like collapsible separator to your files
You can right-click to rename a layer
You can drag and drop the layers in order to reorder them
The order of the layer list is important as lower layers will be rendered below
You can drag and drop any item from the file list into here or directly in the display panel
The mask file, is an ID map that can be used by the layers to display texture on certain areas
The normal output will use a shader to convert the composition final output to a normal map
The texture swap tab allows you to easily swap any textures used by your composition
The layer properties is the most advanced menu of this program, it allows you to modify your textures in various ways
No changes are lost, so you can easily modify the parameters of any change at any point
Basic
On the basic tab, you can modify the file of the layer, which is the base for rendering
You can drag and drop any files from the files tab into this input
Positioning
The positioning menu will tell where the layer will snap to its offset and if it will tile
Mask
In the mask tab, you can tell which part of the composition mask file this layer will apply
You can have an additional mask to the layer which is another file, which will be used as both color and alpha mask
Blending
The blending tab tells how your layer will blend with other layers
Here you can set the alpha, blend mode
You can also create your own blend mode by checking and unchecking the channel boxes
Effects
In this tab you can add special effects to your layer, such as blur and gradient map
You can set up a custom masks to your blur which tells how much each part of your texture will be blurred
The gradient map and all colors in this program support alpha, which I found very useful for blending texture maps
You can double-click on a gradient map color pin in order to edit the color
Right-click on the pin to remove it, or drag it far away from the gradient
Gradient properties
You can double-click on a gradient color pin in order to edit the color
Right-click on the pin to remove it, or drag it far away from the gradient
Noise properties
You can double-click on a gradient color pin in order to edit the color
Right-click on the pin to remove it, or drag it far away from the gradient
There is no resolution settings, the resolution is defined by the composition mask file, or the bottom most layer if there is no composition masks.
This decision is so you can generate variants with different resolutions
Install Node.js
on the root folder run once
npm installevery time to start the dev server, you can run
npm run devbuilding for production (See vite.config.js for outputs)
npm run build
