Preserve the running-state check.
When another thread is executing run() with an empty queue, head.next == &head and stop == false; pop_front() then waits at Line 308. This condition lets the destructor return while the loop is still running, allowing destruction of active loop state. Track the running state separately and terminate when the loop is running or has pending operations, while still allowing an unstarted empty loop to unwind normally.

I have updated the termination condition in the destructor per the bot's suggestion!
I introduced an is_running state flag (managed via an RAII guard in run()) to track the execution state separately from the queue contents. The destructor now safely unwinds if the loop was never started and the queue is empty, but correctly enforces std::terminate() if it is destroyed while run() is actively executing or if operations remain pending in the queue.

Fix unconditional std::terminate in run_loop destructor
Fixes #7806
Proposed Changes
~run_loop()condition fromif (head.next != &head || !stop)toif (head.next != &head).run_loop(where tasks were never queued orfinish()was never called) safely cleans up without invokingstd::terminate(), allowing C++ exceptions to propagate naturally during stack unwinding.Checklist
