Type

  • New catalog entry
  • License / metadata correction
  • Starter stack
  • Docs or site

Checklist

  • Started from node site/new-entry.mjs <category> <id> or copied catalog/TEMPLATE.md (new entries)
  • id is unique across the whole catalog
  • Live license checked today; ## Evidence has a dated line quoting it
  • Row added to the category README.md, with the same licence as the frontmatter
  • Ran node site/sync-counts.mjs after adding or removing entries
  • Stacks: followed stacks/README.md; no licence named in a stack's own words
  • npm run check passes (tests, node site/validate.mjs, node site/build.mjs)

Adds 3DTexel's free handmade library (1,653 CC0 assets: 1,000+ seamless 4K PBR materials incl. ~240 stylized, 49 HDRIs up to 16K, 286 decals, 130 IES profiles) to the 3d category. The decal subset is already listed as shaders-vfx/3dtexel-decals; the new entry links to it. The entry only covers the CC0 library; the site's paid AI/premium assets are under a separate custom license, which the Notes call out. Downloads need a free account.

Disclosure: I'm the creator of 3DTexel (Lucas Anton Gomez, solo developer based in France).

Thanks for the submission, and for disclosing that you run 3DTexel. Merged in 87381f4.

  • Both Evidence quotes were re-read on the live site today (the asset-license page and /pbr-material/), and they match.
  • The entry scope is right: the free CC0 library only. The AI and premium sections stay under the 3DTexel License.
  • The branch counted from 334 entries, and main had just moved to 376. I resolved that by rerunning sync-counts, so the catalog now shows 377. Your commit is unchanged.
