Why

summer-platform e58dbf632e (2026-10-10) changed the store: it no longer refuses a bundle whose config/summer.build.json targetPlatforms differ from the exported platforms. The bundle decides the Build's platforms, and the store reports the difference as targetPlatformChange with declared, missing and added (docs/build-publications.md, "The bundle decides the platforms"). The CLI still refused such a hosted upload with declaration_mismatch before sending it, and the export warned that the upload would be refused.

What changes

  • summer-bundle.ts: declarationMismatch is replaced by targetPlatformChange, which returns the platform's declared / missing / added / message report, or null.
  • summer_publish_build:
    • It never refuses for the difference.
    • It declares the bundle's platforms that Summer has an app for, with or without a server.
    • A hosted declaration that already names those platforms is sent unchanged, so a retry sends the same bytes.
    • The preview target and the result carry targetPlatformChange as information.
  • summer_export_game: returns targetPlatformChange instead of a warning.
  • alignDeclaration: now described as optional. It still sets summer.build.json to the targets.
  • declaration_mismatch fix text names the store's remaining reasons: another game's export, no Summer app platform, or changed server settings.
  • Copy: the summer_export_game description, guide and descriptor, and the release-checklist (1.5) and launch-ready skills.
  • Version: folded into 4.9.1. Neither 4.9.0 nor 4.9.1 is on npm (latest is 4.8.0), and the release gate only requires a version above npm latest. The CHANGELOG section is extended. Not published.

Tests

  • publish-build.test.ts: a hosted bundle whose declaration differs (android, ios, linux, web declared; ios, macos, windows exported) is previewed without warnings and uploaded. The create request declares ios, macos and windows, and the preview and the result carry targetPlatformChange. This replaces the old refusal test.
  • export-game.test.ts: a hosted declaration that differs gives targetPlatformChange and no warning; alignDeclaration: true still updates summer.build.json.
  • Locally:
    • vitest run src/core/capabilities/ src/mcp/ scripts/: 109 files, 1586 tests, all passed.
    • tsc --noEmit and validate:library are clean.
    • generate-registry --check reports no drift.

…json declares

Since summer-platform e58dbf632e the store never refuses a bundle whose
summer.build.json targetPlatforms differ from the exported platforms: the
bundle decides the platforms and the store reports targetPlatformChange.
summer_publish_build no longer stops with declaration_mismatch before the
upload; it declares the bundle's platforms and returns the same
declared/missing/added report in the preview and the result.
summer_export_game returns it instead of a warning, and alignDeclaration is
described as optional. Folded into the unpublished 4.9.1.
