macOS tmpdir() is under /var, a symlink to /private/var. The fake HOME and the summer run test folder now use the real path, as a person's home and summer run do, so npm test (and npm publish's prepublishOnly) pass on a Mac: four tests in projects-local and run failed there, and passed only on CI.
