great news and thanks a lot for the mac version!
testing it now...
it would be great to be able to import settings from SE4 in windows to mac :-)

or is it possible and i don't know how?

Settings in general are not imported from SE4 (the formats are quite different), but there are two things you can do:

• Ctrl+4 (Options -> Set up like Subtitle Edit 4) makes SE5 behave/look like SE4: SE4 shortcuts, classic theme, SE4-style toolbar/waveform, etc.
• To get your own SE4 shortcuts: copy your SE4 Settings.xml from Windows to the Mac, then use Options -> Shortcuts -> Import from SE4 (on macOS the file has to be picked manually, as there is no SE4 install to auto-detect).

For moving settings between two SE5 installs there is Options -> Settings -> Export/Import settings.
