SpudQ is a localized quantum tool-suite designed to create, transpile, and benchmark quantum circuitry.
Note: 'Qreator' is still currently in active development.
You can see the full program in action here
SpudQ is designed as a three module pipeline:
An interactive PyQt6 program for creating quantum circuits in a visual diagram, manage the hardware topology, and save/load the circuitry.
A compilation engine designed to reduce redundant gates, and optimize the circuitry for the expected hardware topology.
A diagnostic tool to calculate the execution time, circuit depth, and memory overhead across varying qubit count into a standardized score.
- Python 3.10 or higher
These commands are natively for Linux systems.
# Clone the repo.
git clone https://codeberg.org/SpudWorks/SpudQ
cd SpudQ
# Create and activate the virtual environment.
python3 -m venv .spudq
source .spudq/bin/activate
# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt
# Enter the src directory for simple execution.
cd src
# Launch the 'Qreator' program with a new circuit.
