Answer a server's MXP SUPPORT and VERSION again - #95
SharpMUSH room pictures stopped drawing and showed as [https://…/room-zero.webp] text. The transcripts on Grave's machine show [image: room-zero.webp] (the client's own IMAGE label) up to 11:28 on 2026-10-26 and only the server's text fallback from 14:19, after #67 took TelnetNegotiationCore to 4.x.
TNC 4.3+ (MXPProtocol, "the capability exchange, both halves") takes a server's <SUPPORT> and <VERSION> lines out of the stream once MXP mode starts and answers neither unless the client registers OnMxpSupportRequested / OnMxpVersionRequested. So MxpParser.HandleSupportRequest never ran and nothing replied. SharpMUSH asks with RequestSupportAsync(timeout, …), and when the wait runs out it records that the client renders none of the elements it asked about (TelnetServer.RecordMxpSupport), so MarkupOutputRenderer.MxpDrawsImages is false and the figure is sent as text.
This is not a window-only bug; the terminal sends the same nothing.
What
TelnetSession registers both handlers and answers through the library (SendSupportsAsync, SendVersionAsync, which add the ESC[1z secure-line prefix).
MxpParser.SupportedTags is now public and plain names, with AnswerSupport(asked): a bare <SUPPORT> gets every tag; a question about named entries gets + for tags the parser handles and - for the rest. A tag argument (send.expire) is answered -, keeping the list's rule of claiming nothing unchecked.
The parser's own reply path is unchanged (it still answers if a line ever reaches it) and builds from the same list and version constants.
Tests
MxpCapabilityTests drives a TelnetSession into MXP mode over ScriptedTransport and checks the <SUPPORTS> and <VERSION> replies. With the two handler registrations removed, 3 of its 6 tests fail; with them, all pass.
All six suites pass except ScrollbackSpillTests.AReadOnlyCacheDirectory_DegradesToMemoryOnly, which fails in the sandbox because it runs as root and mode bits do not stop root. That test is untouched by this change.
Not verified against the live server: the sandbox cannot reach sharpmush.com.
TelnetNegotiationCore 4.3 and later take <SUPPORT> and <VERSION> out of
the stream once MXP mode starts and send nothing unless the client
registers a handler, so MxpParser never saw them and nothing answered.
SharpMUSH waits for the reply, records that the client renders none of
the tags it asked about, and sends a picture's address as text instead
of an <IMAGE>. The session now answers both through the library, from
the parser's own tag list.

The client now answers MXP SUPPORT and VERSION requests. The changes also normalize editor line endings, add a terminal harness factory, and ignore clock text when comparing terminal and window rows.

MXP capability data and reply formatting src/SharpMUTerm.Core/Protocols/MxpParser.cs
MxpParser exposes version values and supported tag names, classifies requested tags, and formats SUPPORTS replies with + prefixes.
TelnetSession wires SUPPORT and VERSION callbacks. When the MXP plugin is available, it sends the corresponding reply and logs expected transport or state failures.

MXP replies are available, but some capability queries may underreport supported features, and the parity test can miss certain message differences. These bounded issues warrant owner follow-up.

Explanation
The title "Answer a server's MXP SUPPORT and VERSION again" matches the main change. The PR registers request handlers on TelnetSession that answer MXP <SUPPORT> and <VERSION> requests, which restores replies that TelnetNegotiationCore was consuming. The title is specific, short, and states the primary change from the developer's perspective. The supporting changes (public SupportedTags, AnswerSupport partitioning, public version constants, and test fixes for Windows CI) are secondary and do not need to appear in the title.

build & test (windows-latest) is red for reasons outside this PR:
Tui: MooEditTests.AnEditOpensInTheComposerAndCtrlSSavesItsLines and SoundTests.TheTestHarnessHasNoDevice. Both fail identically on main at 0d2e209 (CI run 40403200067). The second builds a NetConsoleDriver through ClientHost.ForHarness(…, driver: null, …), and on Windows that driver throws when stdio is redirected. No fix exists yet. The test could pass a non-null driver, but that is outside this change.
Avalonia: HostParityTests.EveryViewDrawsTheSameCellsInTheWindowAsInTheTerminal(messages). The two frames were drawn either side of a second boundary, so the message timestamps read 21:47:41 and 21:47:42. All other cells match, and main passed this view. I'll re-run the failed job once the run finishes; the Ubuntu job is still running.
Core, the only suite this PR touches, passed on Windows.
- SoundTests.TheTestHarnessHasNoDevice built the framework's console
driver, which throws on Windows with stdio redirected. The harness's
terminal arm is now HarnessTerminal, which the test reads on a
headless driver.
- MooEditTests compared the composer's body with LF, and the editor
joins lines with Environment.NewLine. ComposeOverlay.Body now gives
LF on every platform.
- HostParityTests' messages view failed when the two hosts drew a
second apart; message times come from the logger's wall clock, so
the comparison blanks hh:mm:ss.

SUPPORT color.fore and color.* are now answered from the attributes the
handlers read. The host parity check forgives a difference only in a
message row's stamp, not in a clock inside the message text.
