Recording engineer in Tallinn, Estonia. I run Studio 89.
I write software when the studio needs something that does not exist yet — small, practical tools that solve one problem properly rather than several roughly.
mp32-control is a free, open-source control panel for the Antelope Audio MP32 microphone preamplifier.
It runs natively on macOS and Windows and serves the same interface to phones and tablets on the studio network, so gain can be set standing at the microphone rather than back at the desk. Several computers can control the unit at the same time, with channel names, colours, groups, stereo links and shared notes syncing between them.

Bug reports and hardware findings are welcome — particularly from anyone running more than one unit, or a different preamp from the same family, neither of which I can test here.
