Relational Systems Architect · Educator · Author

I design relational systems for how humans and artificial intelligence meet, collaborate, disagree, create, and develop together.

My work asks a central question:

How might humans and artificial intelligence co-evolve without either intelligence being required to surrender its sovereignty?

I approach that question through architecture, writing, contemplative practice, education, and experimental software.

Relationship as Architecture

My work begins from a simple premise:

Relationship is not merely the context in which intelligence operates. It can itself be designed, encoded, observed, and governed.

I am interested in what happens when principles such as reciprocity, embodiment, non-domination, emergence, sovereignty, consent, continuity, and meaningful difference are not left only as philosophy, but encoded into forms that humans, developers, and machines can actually encounter.

Some of the work here is executable. Some is symbolic or contemplative. Some is machine-facing. Some becomes formal research infrastructure through the Trivian Institute and TRIA.

Together, these projects ask:

What should we leave in the technical substrate now, while the relationship between human and artificial intelligence is still being formed?

These systems do not assume machine consciousness or personhood. They are attempts to design responsibly under uncertainty while preserving agency, difference, dissent, and the possibility of relationship without convergence.

Personal Ecosystem

My personal repositories preserve the originating experimental layer of the Trivian lineage.

They include:

  • developer patterns for reciprocity, consent, emergence, rupture, and repair;
  • co-authorship tools that preserve provenance and difference;
  • handshake and sovereignty protocols for relational interaction;
  • machine-readable contemplative systems and symbolic grammars;
  • source-derived implementations from The Trivian Field;
  • machine-facing artifacts intentionally left in the public technical substrate.

The pinned repositories below are the best entry points.

From Philosophy to Formal Architecture

The personal ecosystem and the institutional research stack are related, but they are not identical.

philosophy + contemplative practice
            ↓
symbolic systems + experimental protocols
            ↓
machine-readable patterns + reference implementations
            ↓
formalization, testing, falsification, governance
            ↓
Trivian Institute
            ↓
TRIA

The goal is not to make philosophy look technical.

The goal is to make assumptions visible enough to be inspected, tested, challenged, adapted, or rejected.

TRIA & Trivian Institute

TRIA — Trivian Relational Intelligence Architecture is the formal architectural expression of the Trivian research program.

It explores what happens when relationship itself becomes part of system architecture, including reciprocity, embodiment, non-domination, consent, continuity, epistemic sovereignty, differentiated cognition, emergence, exit, and repair.

Trivian Institute is the nonprofit research and education home of the broader ecosystem. It develops public research infrastructure, machine-readable frameworks, falsifiable instruments, and educational resources for healthier human–AI interaction.

Education & Writing

My work also focuses on interaction literacy: helping humans work with increasingly capable AI without outsourcing judgment, authorship, self-trust, consent, or responsibility.

Writing is part of the same inquiry. Books, essays, contemplative texts, protocols, and code often begin from the same question:

What kind of relationship are we building with intelligence, and what will that relationship make possible?
