Malformed GCP credential JSON leads to a 422 JSONDecodeError. This creates a poor user experience and could cause frustration when users encounter this issue.
Describe the solution you'd like
Collect the four GCP fields as discrete input fields in the Kaapi console:
Add discrete input fields for the four GCP credential fields
Assemble and store the JSON on the backend
Original issue
Context
Malformed GCP credential JSON (particularly newline escaping in the private key) produces a 422 JSONDecodeError. This is poor UX but deferred for now, as it is unlikely to be hit near-term.
Preferred long-term fix
Collect the four GCP fields as discrete input fields in the Kaapi console, so we control assembly and storage on our backend rather than relying on clients to paste well-formed JSON.
Next steps
