docs: say unofficial in the tagline, and drop the em dash - #52
Conversation
The repository description called this "an unofficial Swift SDK for OpenRouterKit", which named the package as the thing it wraps rather than OpenRouter, and the README's own tagline never said unofficial at all. For a third-party SDK that is the one word a reader needs first, so it belongs in both places and now is. Also splits the trailing clause into its own sentence rather than hanging it off an em dash, and adds the serial comma the list was missing. 📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe README description now identifies OpenRouterKit as an unofficial OpenRouter SDK. The existing feature list and zero-dependency native async/await description remain unchanged. ChangesDocumentation Update
Estimated code review effort: 1 (Trivial) | ~2 minutes Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to The README tagline is improved, but its final “Zero dependencies, native async/await.” fragment leaves a minor documentation polish issue; the change is otherwise localized and merge-ready after that wording fix. The repository description read "This is an unofficial Swift SDK for OpenRouterKit! Chat completions, real-time streaming, model browsing, the works." Three problems: it named OpenRouterKit as the API being wrapped rather than OpenRouter, so it described itself as an SDK for itself; "the works" says nothing; and it was the first thing a visitor read.
That description is a repository setting rather than a file, so it is already fixed and is not part of this diff. This PR fixes the matching line in the README, which had its own version of the problem: it never said unofficial anywhere. For a third-party SDK wrapping someone else's API that is the single most important word, and it should not be the case that the GitHub description says it and the README does not.
The trailing "— all with zero dependencies and native async/await" becomes its own sentence, and the feature list gains the serial comma it was missing.
Repository metadata set alongside this, for the record: the description above, and topics
swift,openrouter,llm,sdk,async-await,server-side-swift, since the repo had none and was therefore unfindable by search. No code changes, so nothing to test beyond CI.
