# Agent instructions — pipelex-method-apps

Open no new branch here and claim no ledger item this repository owns: those items are re-owned to the new repository when the import lands, and the work happens there.

The guide for AI coding agents at this repository's root is [`CLAUDE.md`](CLAUDE.md), and each template directory carries its own `CLAUDE.md` and `AGENTS.md` for work inside it. Everything there applies regardless of which agent you are. The rules that cause real damage when missed:

- **A template directory must work on its own**: a project is a copy of that directory alone, so nothing in it may reach above it.

The family of Pipelex method templates: one directory per shape and language, each of which a project starts as a copy of. The root holds what belongs to the family, and [`docs/family.md`](docs/family.md) explains it.

Version 0.5.7 is the last release made from this repository, and new work waits for the move rather than starting here.

Templates for an app that runs [MTHDS](https://mthds.ai) methods through the [Pipelex](https://pipelex.com) API, one directory per shape and language. A template ships no method: it ships what every method needs, and one command turns a copy of it into the app for the method you have.
