Hi, I'm Pihu

I'm a CS undergrad at VIT Bhopal, specializing in Cloud Computing, and I like building things end to end instead of just the parts that are fun. Lately that has meant as much time in regression models, optimisation and simulation as in web apps.

Right now I'm mostly writing Python and TypeScript, going back and forth between analytics work and full-stack apps.

What I'm building

  • StegoX: a multi-modal steganography app that hides messages inside images, audio and video, with AES-256 encryption and Whisper-based voice authentication on top. Built at PydroidX (Android Club, VIT Bhopal), won Best Collaboration Award. Python, Streamlit, Android.
  • ChokeHelm: an autonomous controller for a production oil well that decides the choke setting every hour, balancing output against hard safety pressure limits. Steady-state optimiser under a predictive controller, validated with a 120-run randomised simulation campaign against PID and override-PI baselines. Python, NumPy, SciPy.
  • GapstractAI: an AI-assisted tool that processes research papers and helps surface the gaps in a field instead of you reading forty PDFs by hand. React, Node, PostgreSQL, OpenAI API.
  • Cleerlyst: a platform for universities to publish placement results and academic data behind proper access control instead of a public spreadsheet. Next.js, PostgreSQL, NextAuth.
  • SolarMatch: a regression model that forecasts next-day surplus rooftop solar generation from weather and load data, built for peer-to-peer energy trading. Python, scikit-learn, time-series cross-validation.
