This dataset contains electroencephalography (EEG) recordings collected for the development and evaluation of a multidirectional motor imagery-based brain-computer interface (MI-BCI) for mouse cursor control. The recordings were acquired using an OpenBCI Ultracortex Mark IV 8-channel wireless EEG system and include neural activity associated with different motor imagery and control conditions.Participants performed trials under six experimental conditions: Right-hand motor imagery (RH) — imagining movement of the right hand. Right-leg motor imagery (RL) — imagining movement of the right leg. Left-hand motor imagery (LH) — imagining movement of the left hand. Left-leg motor imagery (LL) — imagining movement of the left leg. Eye blinking (EB) — voluntary eye-blinking activity. Rest/Break (Break) — resting periods without an instructed motor imagery task. The dataset is intended to support research in brain-computer interfaces, motor imagery decoding, EEG signal processing, machine learning, and neural engineering, including the development and evaluation of algorithms for multidirectional cursor-control applications.
