This dataset contains electroencephalography (EEG) recordings collected for research on brain-computer interface (BCI) applications, with a focus on motor imagery (MI)-based mouse cursor control. The EEG data were acquired using an Emotiv EPOC+ 14-channel wireless EEG headset while participants performed different motor imagery and resting conditions. The experimental protocol consisted of three conditions: Left-hand motor imagery — participants imagined movement of the left hand. Right-hand motor imagery — participants imagined movement of the right hand. Break/Rest — participants remained at rest without performing a motor imagery task. The dataset is intended to support research in EEG-based brain-computer interfaces, motor imagery classification, EEG signal processing, machine learning, and neural engineering, particularly for applications involving non-invasive cursor control.
