feat(news): freeze Home news panel as demo snapshot - #630

FinSearch's news pipeline is paused. /api/news/signals now serves the last live payload (2026-10-11 11:20 UTC) from dashboard/config/news_demo_snapshot.json behind NEWS_FEED_FROZEN, and the panel labels it "Demo news" instead of a frozen "Updated 0.2h ago". Also read signals' sentiment_score (the live field) in the Home Signals tab; it read the mock's `score` and rendered every live signal as 0.00. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <[email protected]>

- NEWS_FEED_FROZEN is now an env var read per request (unset = frozen; junk reads frozen and warns once), so the feed resumes from Render with no deploy. Tests set it explicitly instead of pinning the code default. - Snapshot loader caches only a successful load, returns a deep copy, and fails closed on valid-but-non-object JSON instead of 500ing. - The loader owns `demo` and the null `staleness_hours`; `demo` dropped from the committed JSON. - home-news-signals.js (second /api/news/signals consumer) labels the snapshot "Demo news"; both consumers show fixed dates, not ever-growing relative times. - Node tests for both renderers (demo line, dates, sentiment_score). - CLAUDE.md: freeze note moved out of the fail-closed section into an env bullet.
