Part of #293.

  • studio_pick (MCP): an agent names a CSS selector or the text an element shows; the open Studio page finds it in the snapshot and stages it exactly as a click does (the person sees "Collect this value" with the ways to find it), or adds it to the recipe with add. The answer carries the selector chosen and the alternatives with their match counts.
  • Requests to the page now report back: ui-report (page to server) and ui-outcome (controller asks). studio_open_recipe also waits for it, so a path that cannot be opened is an error, not "opened".
  • The agent names studio_pick; the MCP README and the Studio manual describe it. Extension 0.6.0.

Checked: typecheck, lint, unit tests for studio, studio-ui, mcp, agent and the extension; the mcp, studio and editor e2e. By hand: a real Studio on a small web page, a real browser on Studio, the MCP server over stdio. A text pick staged b.price with its alternatives, add wrote an extract step into the recipe file, and a selector that matches nothing reported why.

Not here: picking in PDFs, spreadsheets and decks (still the person's click), a chat box inside Studio.

…back (0.6.0)

A pick names a selector or the text shown; the open page finds it in the snapshot, stages it the
way a click does and, with add, adds it to the recipe. Every request to the page now reports how
it went (ui-report, ui-outcome), so open and pick tell the agent what happened.
