Open VSX (and the Marketplace) showed the extension as UNLICENSED: the packaging script hard-coded license: 'UNLICENSED' and passed --skip-license, and the repository had no LICENSE file although the root package.json says MIT.

  • add LICENSE (MIT, Eduardo Russo, 2026)
  • the packaged manifest says MIT and ships LICENSE
  • version 0.0.4, so merging publishes it

Checked on a local build: the .vsix manifest has <License>extension/LICENSE.txt</License> and "license": "MIT".

The staged manifest hard-coded UNLICENSED and --skip-license, so the Marketplace and
Open VSX showed the extension as unlicensed. The root package.json already declares
MIT but the repository had no LICENSE file: add it, copy it into the package and
raise the version to 0.0.4 so the publish workflow releases it.
