Add Block Discontinuity for detecting runs of equal values without consuming the input. It returns fresh
i32head flags, tail flags, or both. For[2, 2, 5, 5], the default flags are[1, 0, 1, 0]and[0, 1, 0, 1]. Eight forms cover optional block-uniform predecessor and successor values of the input type, all ten Numeric types, XYZ blocks and generic item counts.This follows Adjacent Difference #12132 and uses the pinned Oxide compiler. Review the 21-file owning diff; Files changed against main also includes the preceding Rust API layers.
Local Rust 1.99.1 validation passed host tests and strict checks, all 18 compiler controls and both release consumers. Inspection covered all 14 kernel entries and native ABIs. The example and 20-case fixture passed numerical checks, three sanitizers, and two invalid-input traps with immediate successful recovery runs. These builds used
464ac5c4; this ancestry-only successor has the identical source tree.Earlier source reviews, native suites, Rust 1.85 MSRV and the full 269-control run retain their historical attribution. Timing was not repeated; the earlier representative f64/4,096-block case was 46% slower than direct CUB. Current-head host CI passes (81 tests/doctests; eleven native tests excluded), along with the three upstream checks.
