I build intelligent systems and robots that live in the physical world.
My background is behavioural science. I work at the intersection of human behaviour, product design, and robotics — turning observations about how people live and interact into working prototypes.
- A desktop humanoid robot — an embodied AI prototype that combines natural conversation, memory, everyday task flows, and physical expression.
- A ground robot — a sensor-driven mobile robot for tracking, obstacle avoidance, and companion-like interaction.
- An underwater robot — an ongoing prototype exploring movement and sensing in underwater environments.
- robot-lipsync — real-time multilingual lip sync for robots and constrained displays, with English, Mandarin, and Spanish support.
- dont-reinvent-the-wheel — a reusable engineering workflow for deciding when to reuse, fork, or build.
I take projects from early product definition through software, electronics, CAD, 3D printing, system integration, and demo production. I keep engineering logs of symptoms, root causes, fixes, and dead ends so each prototype becomes a foundation for the next one.
