About me

  • I'm a Senior Data Consultant at Luxoft-DXC in Kuala Lumpur, building and validating regulatory-reporting data flows for central-bank submissions in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
  • I hold a PhD in Physical Sciences from Homi Bhabha National Institute. I did my research at the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata, on the GEM-based Muon Chamber (MuCh) of the CBM experiment at FAIR.
  • During my PhD I worked with large, free-streaming detector datasets: noise and time-offset calibration, clustering, time correlations across subsystems, and detector-performance studies under high-rate conditions.
  • I specialise in data validation, reconciliation and analytical problem-solving, and I bring the rigour of experimental research to data quality and regulatory compliance in financial services.

Research highlights

  • GEM detector test beam at CERN GIF++ (2023): took part in data-taking and analysed the performance of a CBM MuCh triple-GEM module under high gamma background. The results are published.
  • mCBM beam campaigns (2019–2022): commissioning and performance analysis of the mMuCh GEM modules in the mCBM demonstrator at GSI.
  • Simulation studies: CBM MuCh geometry, background from heavily ionising particles, and Λ/strangeness reconstruction in mCBM.
