Git index surgery:
- Untrack 99 .pyc/__pycache__ compiled bytecode files
- Untrack 17 ChromaDB binary blobs (runtime data, re-ingested on deploy)
- Remove zombie source files from index: security.py, observability.py,
schema.sql, education_schema.py, agent_models.py, schemas.py,
query_parser.py, embedder.py, utils/__init__.py
New tracked infrastructure:
- Add .gitignore (root) with comprehensive rules
- Add .github/ CI/CD workflows (ci.yml, deploy-azure.yml)
- Add backend/requirements-lock.txt (lockfile CI/CD depends on)
- Add backend/pyproject.toml (Python 3.13, ruff config)
- Add backend/.dockerignore with tests/ and .pytest_cache/
Phase 7-18 application changes now tracked:
- New: app/api/{admin,analytics,colleges,compare,health,profile}.py
- New: app/middleware/ (rate_limit, api_key_auth, observability, csp)
- New: app/db/migrations/ (V1-V5 schema files)
- New: app/services/{log,alert,usage,email_validator,profile_enricher}.py
- New: app/db/__init__.py (package declaration)
- New: tests/ suite (13 test files)
- New: frontend/{admin/,compare/,lib/,components/}
- New: infrastructure/azure/ (deploy.sh, .env.azure.example)
Code fixes:
- Move inline import threading to module-level in college_info_service.py
- Move test_remediation.py to tests/ directory
- Delete stale artifacts: latency_report.json, server_error.log
