Point Clip Lab at a long stream recording, mark the moments you want, and export clean clips in seconds. Instant lossless cuts or frame-perfect exports — nothing to set up.
Clip Lab turns hours-long recordings into shareable clips fast. Open an OBS capture (or any MP4, MKV, MOV and more), scrub to the moment, mark a Start and End, name it, and add it to the queue — then batch-export the whole list at once. Even a six-hour file opens instantly because Clip Lab reads it in place.
Leave it on instant, lossless cuts, or flip on frame-perfect mode for exact edges — it re-encodes on your GPU (NVIDIA NVENC) and falls back to your CPU automatically. Everything runs locally, and you can even run several copies at once, one per video. Free to use; claim your license key and download it straight from this page.

v1.0.23 — 2026-10-20
- Fixed: in a combined video, transitions were eating into the photos, so a photo set to 3 seconds didn't stay on screen for 3 seconds and the video came out shorter than expected.
- A photo's seconds are now how long it stays fully on screen, with the transitions added between photos: three 3-second photos with 1.5-second transitions make a 12-second video.
- A short photo no longer shortens the transitions next to it. Video clips still blend into each other as before, and the total length shown in the combine window matches the video you get.
v1.0.22 — 2026-10-20
- Preview your transitions: every transition in the combine window has a Preview button that plays the end of one piece running into the start of the next, so you can see exactly how it will look.
- Picking a different transition shows its preview straight away. The preview follows the shape, fit and transition length you pick, and can play with or without sound.
- The shape list in the combine window now says what each shape is for, just like Crop: 9:16 (TikTok, Shorts), 16:9 (YouTube), 1:1 (Square), 4:5 (Instagram).
v1.0.21 — 2026-10-20
- Combine whole videos from anywhere on your PC: in the combine window, 'Add videos or photos' picks any video files and photos, and you can drop them straight in too. Each video goes in from start to finish.
- Mix them freely with clips from your list, in any order, with a transition between each.
- New 'Combine videos and photos into one' button on the start screen, so you can make one without opening a video first.
- If the first video or photo is tall, the combined video starts tall.
v1.0.20 — 2026-10-20
- New: combine clips and photos into one video. Open your clips list and pick 'Combine clips and photos into one video', put the pieces in order, and save it as one MP4.
- Pick a transition between each piece: cut, crossfade, fade through black or white, dissolve, slide, wipe, circle, clock wipe, zoom, pixelate, blur or squeeze, and how long it lasts.
- Choose the video's shape (wide, tall, square or portrait) and size. Clips keep their own crop, text, stickers, shapes and sound, and photos can be added from a folder or dropped straight in.
- Clips now remember the video they came from. Opening or closing a video no longer clears your list, and you can export or change clips from different videos together.
- Each clip saves next to its own video unless you pick a folder.
v1.0.19 — 2026-10-12
- Drag and drop: drag a video from a folder onto Clip Lab to open it. The window shows 'Drop to open' while you drag.
- Dropping a video while another one is open switches to it, and asks about the clips in your list, just like the folder button.
- Dropping something that isn't a video shows a short message instead of doing nothing.
