What

Why

  • CodeQL: Dependabot bumped each sub-action in its own PR. That left init and analyze on different versions, and the CodeQL job failed with "Not all workflow steps that use github/codeql-action actions use the same version". None of those PRs could pass alone.
  • @types/node: engines is node >=20, so the types follow Node 20. Moving them to 26 (chore(deps): bump @types/node from 20.19.43 to 26.6.1 #28) would let the code use APIs that Node 20 users don't have.
  • typescript 7 (chore(deps): bump typescript from 5.9.3 to 7.0.2 #18): the build crashes with Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'useCaseSensitiveFileNames'). This needs a migration, not a version bump.
  • vitest 5 (chore(deps): bump vitest from 2.1.9 to 5.0.1 #27): it fails at startup with ERR_PACKAGE_PATH_NOT_EXPORTED: './module-runner' because it needs a matching vite major. A tracking issue covers this.

Each ignored major PR also used one of the 5 open-PR slots, which could block patch updates. Minor and patch updates for these packages still come through.

The new SHA 2892aa5e19bbd11bc0cff5427e3b750a04d9e3c2 was checked against the v4.38.2 tag.

Bump init, analyze and upload-sarif together, group the codeql-action
sub-actions so they arrive in one pull request, and ignore major
updates of @types/node, typescript and vitest, which need manual work.
