Completely restructured and expanded the secure-devtools documentation website with improved SEO metadata, new content pages, and a professional CSS styling system.

Key Changes

  • New guide pages: Created 9 comprehensive guides covering:
    • Inspecting untrusted repositories
    • Vetting agent skills and MCP servers
    • Checking AI-generated code security

    • Detecting malicious VS Code tasks
    • Catching supply-chain attacks
    • Preventing SSRF vulnerabilities
    • Identifying screen-recording browser extensions
    • Triaging macOS login items

  • New skills page: Documented 7 open-source agent skills (SKILL.md) for AI coding agents
  • New security page: Documented threat model, build process, and vulnerability reporting

SEO and Metadata Improvements

  • Updated robots.txt with sitemap reference

Styling

  • Added new assets/site.css with comprehensive design system:

    • Dark theme with oklch color tokens
    • Responsive typography using CSS clamp
    • Component styles for header, navigation, content layout
    • Accessibility features (focus states, skip links)
    • Professional spacing and typography system

Content Updates

  • Updated main index.html with expanded description emphasizing "free, open-source" and specific use cases

Implementation Details

Make the GitHub Pages site answer the questions people ask AI search, not
only describe the tools:

- Nine guides, one question each: inspecting an untrusted repository,
AI-generated code, VS Code folder-open tasks, supply-chain checks beyond
npm audit, vetting agent skills, auditing a dev machine, macOS login
  items, screen-recording extensions, and SSRF.
- A reference page per tool, a skills page, a comparison page
(npm audit, OSV-Scanner, Snyk, Semgrep, antivirus) and a security,
  trust and threat-model page.
- Homepage opens with a plain answer to what secure-devtools is, adds a
'what it can help detect' section and links to the new pages.
- JSON-LD for the site, maintainer, project and each tool
(SoftwareApplication), TechArticle and breadcrumbs on guides, FAQPage on
the comparison. Absolute canonical URLs, sitemap.xml, robots.txt
sitemap line, and llms.txt links to every page.
- Shared stylesheet in docs/assets/site.css.

github-advanced-security failed, but not because of this PR. The job never looked at the diff. When it tried to start its AI review session, the Copilot service refused with HTTP 402: You have exceeded your monthly quota (errorCode: quota). This is an account billing limit, so a code change can't fix it, and re-running won't help until the quota resets or is raised. I haven't re-run it.

The other checks that have finished on this head pass: Security gate, gitleaks, GitGuardian and dependency-review. The changes are static HTML, CSS, llms.txt, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and the README.

Semgrep's missing-integrity rule flags any <link> with an absolute URL,
including rel=canonical, which browsers never fetch. A root-relative
canonical resolves to the same URL and matches what the homepage used
before.
