Replaces the two-card landing page with a full Jekyll site built on the al-folio academic starter, porting content from sites.google.com/view/darshan-sarojini. Content: - about/home, research (5 ongoing projects), teaching, people, join - _bibliography/papers.bib: 52 entries generated from the OpenAlex author record (all DOIs authoritative, none transcribed), with Crossref used to fill venue names OpenAlex leaves empty for AIAA proceedings. The PhD thesis has no DOI and was added by hand. - _data/people.yml drives the roster so adding a member is a data edit Deployment: - Replaces al-folio's stock gh-pages branch deploy with the Pages artifact API. interactive-visualization/ is ~218 MB of .glb models, which a branch-based deploy would commit into git history on every build. - Pull requests build without publishing, so main stays deployable. Removed al-folio demo data that would otherwise have gone live: Einstein's CV record and social links, and 50 MB of sample imagery. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <[email protected]>
Content: service, student resources, 8 completed projects, and 36 news items covering 2023-2026 (the archive gives month granularity only, so each is dated to the 1st). Fixes found by building al-folio locally for the first time: - interactive-visualization/ is now excluded from the Jekyll source and copied into _site verbatim after purgecss (bin/copy-viz.sh). jekyll-terser was minifying the x3dom library inside the 3D viewers, which risked breaking them; the copied x3dom.js is now byte-identical to source. - external_sources emptied. al-folio shipped its own Medium feed and a Google Blog post, both fetched over the network and rendered as our content on every build. - Removed the demo Jupyter notebook (build failed: no jupyter binary), the resume.json feed behind the deleted CV page, and relativity.html. - publications nav_order 2 -> 3; it collided with research. Local build is clean in 7.5s and renders all 52 publications. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <[email protected]>
