[bug] Plugin editor window does not resize properly on macOS #48

Description

@JaredIsrael

What happened?

When using the plugin editor window for a custom plugin on mac, resizing the editor window does not resize the plugin GUI as expected for plugins that support resizing. I found this issue using fabfilter plugins, which do resize with the editor window dynamically. Here is an example of how the window resizes in Splitwave with Pro-Q4: https://imgur.com/a/iMonCxB

Here is an example of Pro-Q dynamically resizing to an arbitrary window size properly in REAPER when dragging from the corner: https://imgur.com/a/X4nvTgI

Note that the GUI does resize as expected when using the resize button in the plugin interface and resizing to the preset sizes, it is the dynamic resizing that causes the window to change but not the interface, leaving the blank space. This issue was also present on CLAP, AU, and VST3 verisons of the plugin. This is pretty low priority, especially since the plugin can be resized using their preset size butotns, but not all plugins have this and it would be a nice quality of life change.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open splitwave
  2. Create new pipeline
  3. Add plugin node
  4. Add plugin
  5. Click open editor
  6. Click bottom left corner and drag to resize window

Expected behavior

Most plugins support dynamic resizing of the editor window when the containing window is dragged to an arbitrary size, the GUI should rescale according to the new window size, see the example from above from REAPER with proq3
