fix(review-relay): refuse reviewer config typed before resolving the binary - #2494
Conversation
…binary snapshotReviewHostRelayRequest resolved the gentle-ai executable before validating the caller-owned reviewer selection, so a broken executable supply (missing pinned binary, invalid dev override, transient filesystem error under full-suite load) escaped as an untyped error ahead of the typed reviewer-config-invalid refusal. That reclassified the refusal through the unknown-failure paths (capture failure without a failure kind; reviewer-group failure outcome) instead of the typed transport failure the contract promises. A caller-supplied executable path stays validated first — it is input, not environment — and only the environment-dependent resolution of an unspecified executable is deferred behind the config checks. (gentle-shell#2256)

Add tests for the changed validation order.
This change alters refusal precedence and defers resolveGentleAiBinary(). The supplied PR changes include no tests for this behavior. Add tests for:
- A non-absolute caller-supplied executable before reviewer validation.
- Invalid reviewer configuration before default executable resolution.
- Valid reviewer configuration with a broken default binary still propagating the binary failure.
As per path instructions, behavior changes in lib/**/*.ts must ship with tests in the same PR.
