docs(skills): stop pushing to the wrong fork of an awesome list - #18
Conversation
…the wrong file A day of listing submissions showed that fork names lie (suffixes, renamed upstreams, unrelated same-name repos) and that a list's lint only proves something when run the way its CI runs it. Also folds in the form traps met on eight directories and the awesome-go doc-comment bar.

leaving “Alternative to” blank is recommended only when a qualifying commercial

- Line 98: Update the Staticcheck guidance near the package-comment checks to
explicitly enable ST1000, such as by adding it to the checks configuration while
inheriting the default checks, so a normal staticcheck run includes
package-comment validation.

ST1000 is off by default in staticcheck, so the command now enables it. selfhostyourself.com's optional 'Alternative to' field does not waive its commercial-equivalent rule.
Today's listing run hit two problems the skills didn't warn about.
Four agents synced the wrong fork. GitHub adds a suffix to a second fork with the same name and keeps the old name after the upstream is renamed. I also own an unrelated list that shares a name with one of those forks. Nothing broke, but only by luck.
The other is lint. One list's check script reads the base branch's README, the way its CI calls it. Run against the branch copy, it checks the wrong file, and a green result means nothing.
submit-awesome step 5 now says to resolve a fork by its parent before any sync or push, and to run the lint the way the list's CI does. The known list rules also get the awesome-go bar, which wants a doc comment on every exported symbol.

grow-my-repo step 5 gets one sentence on splitting a parallel drain. Each curator gets one agent. Forms behind a login go from the browser that holds that session. Every agent appends to one shared log, and one coordinator folds it into the ledger. The places reference gets the form traps from CasaOS AppStore, DeepWiki, LibHunt, selfhostyourself.com, dashboardicons.com, Mac Apps Library, cursor.directory, EuroStack and selfh.st.

validate_skills.py passes with 0 errors on all 17 skills. It fails on a copy with the
