Summary

Keys for eight eMudhra intermediate CAs were compromised, and Mozilla removed the "emSign ECC Root CA - G3" root (NSS 3.131.1). This lock pinned certifi 2026.7.22, which still trusts that root. certifi 2026.10.19 drops it.

Changes

  • uv.lock: certifi 2026.7.22 -> 2026.10.19. No other package moves, and the lockfile revision stays at 3.

Pillow 12.3.0, which comes in through matplotlib, also has open advisories, fixed in 13.0.0. I left it out of this PR so that this one stays a single change.

Testing

  • uv lock --locked passes.
  • just check: ruff format and lint are clean, and pyright reports 0 errors.
  • just test: 93 passed, 7 skipped.
  • The installed certifi/cacert.pem lists G1, C1 and C3 but not "emSign ECC Root CA - G3".

Checklist

  • CI (ok) is green
  • Docs / README updated if needed (none needed)

Keys for several eMudhra intermediate CAs were compromised and Mozilla
removed the "emSign ECC Root CA - G3" root from NSS. certifi 2026.7.22
still ships that root; 2026.10.19 removes it.

Only the certifi entry in uv.lock changes. The lockfile revision stays
at 3 so older uv releases can still read it.
