    Hey! I was focusing on some other auth errors and other metrics, but I’m coming back to this now.
    I’ve started the investigation already. We looked into reducing the bundle size, but it didn’t give the expected results. I do have some potential ideas that could improve it and I’ll continue working on it

    Moving back to weekly. There are a handful of ongoing things that should help with this:

    • The web hosting has been consolidated on Cloudflare Workers / Cloudflare Static Assets, eliminating the 2nd CND hop to CloudFront/S3. This should help reduce latency when browsers fetch web assets.
    • In a similar vein, we're working on more efficient web asset compression with Brotli
    • In a similar vein, lazy-loading a few larger SVG assets will also help
    • We're eliminating redundant font asset fetching
    • We're working on rolling out LegendList for more efficient lists, including slight TTI improvements.
    • useOnyx has become performant enough that it's generally more efficient to subscribe to data at the row level, rather than the list level. This will help simplify the codebase and eliminate a lot of the trickiest code to optimize. It also is coming with TTI improvements. Examples:
