Identify the pull request that introduced this issue and revert it.
Recommendation: Roll forward with a one-line fix. If the fix isn't merged before the deploy is ready, revert #103703.
Root cause: When you tap the expense card in a single-expense report preview, the click handler always opens the report (MoneyRequestReportPreview/index.tsx:362-365). Before this PR, that was correct, because a single-expense report always showed its expense inline. The PR added table view, which shows the report as a table instead. It also turned off the expense-to-report redirect in table view. But it never updated this click handler, so the tap now opens the report as a table instead of opening the expense.
Fix: In MoneyRequestReportPreview/index.tsx, skip the early return when table view is on:
const{shouldUseTableViewForSingleExpense}=useSingleExpenseReportView(iouReportID);// ...if(transactions.length<=1&&!shouldUseTableViewForSingleExpense){openReportFromPreview();return;}// add shouldUseTableViewForSingleExpense to the useCallback deps
In table view, the tap then works like it does on a report with several expenses and opens the expense. "Pay someone" reports still open the report, because useSingleExpenseReportView already leaves them out of table view.
No other PR in Deploy Checklist: New Expensify 2026-10-21 touched the preview click code. MoneyRequestReportPreview/index.tsx and TransactionPreview/index.tsx haven't changed since 2026-10-10.
